Chosen as the first joint speaker for the Austin SPIN and Agile Alliance Community, our VP spoke to a full house on “Evolution of Software Development Lifecycles: Waterfallacies and Agile Methods”. Viviana Rubinstein and Jorge Boria have been Certified as High Maturiry Lead Appraisers by the SEI. This habilitates them to perform High Maturity (CMMI ML4 and 5) Scampi’s. This certification is given to selected Lead Appraisers that through their career have demonstrated skills that make them acceptable to the program and that pass a required exam at the SEI on their statistical knowledge and the special activities required by a High Maturity appraisals.
Viviana Rubinstein and Jorge Boria attended Ken Schwaber’s class in California and received their certification as Scrum Masters for the Scrum Alliance. Through this certificate, Jorge and Viviana are now in a position of authority to help organizations that are using Agile Methods and that are trying to stick with the CMMI practices in their development processes.
Jorge Boria Hill be the invited speaker at the Austin SPIN January 2008 meeting. His presentation is titled “Evolution of Software Development Lifecycles: Waterfallacies and Agile Methods”. Seeing the influence this management framework has had on many small to mid-sized software development companies, Liveware Inc has taken the steps to ensure that we understand what it is and how it is applied. After months of preparation, our senior Lead Appraisers passed the demanding exam to become SEI-Certified SCAMPI High-Maturity Lead Appraisers. This is the result of our continuous strive for perfection, an unattainable but worthy goal!
