LIVEWARE’s CMMI appraisals are more than process reviews. Our appraisers bring a full understanding of product development, IT, organizational change management, and improvement implementation so that we focus on the best practices that are key to your business success. Their experience helps you prioritize changes that will quickly translate into actionable results and improved productivity, quality and predictability.
LIVEWARE provides appraisals using both Staged and Continuous representations of CMMI across its available disciplines (systems engineering, software engineering, integrated product and process development and supplier sourcing). Using only SEI-Certified Lead Appraisers, qualified through an additional rigorous internal screening process, we offer unparalleled credibility, consistency and efficiency.
SCAMPI Class A Appraisal: Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement, used to obtain a formal, benchmark-level CMMI rating (or “certification”) that can be publicly announced.
Class B Appraisal: Provides a practice-by-practice analysis of your organization, but in less time and without the rigor of a Class A Appraisal.
Class C Appraisal: A LIVEWARE Lead Assessor evaluates your application development maturity and identifies best practice gaps. These gaps form the basis of actionable improvement plans and progress measures.
CMMI-BPMM Appraisals: CMMI appraisals typically benchmark IT organizations up to the business unit interface. Using this cooperative approach, LIVEWARE appraises both business and IT processes to help both groups mature together.
Document Reviews: A LIVEWARE analyst reviews your process documentation against the relevant CMMI process areas to identify gaps and recommended improvements to your process set ("methodology").
Readiness Review: In preparation for (or as part of) a SCAMPI Class A Appraisal, a Lead Appraiser works with you to determine your readiness to proceed with the formal appraisal.
